I stewed on this thread over night because I wanted to respond, but wasn't sure what to say. If you don't like the band, f'n quit. I went through a simular period where I kept giging with a band I hated because it was my only social outlet. Later on after a fight about weither or not we should walk to the corner store to grab a couple Red Bulls, I found out that nobody in the band was happy. Bottom line is, if the only reason you are in the band is because its a social outlet, you got problems, and you arn't doing anyone any favors by staying around. You need to be true to yourself in all things. Trust me, you will find other social outlets. When I stoped being in bands just for the sake of having gigs, I met my wife. That has been the best "gig" I could have ever wished for.
For what it's worth I really liked the songs you had posted. I didn't mind the vocals at all. I stuck with Thursday through those early years and it paid off. Also, don't talk sh*t about your band if its not something you wouldn't want to say to anyones face. In this day in age, anything online will get back to them.
