Let me explain: by "broke my heart" what I meant was "had no target for my blind directionless rage, and chose to sulk instead."
Sulking is not manly either, admittedly, but I was in a room of music equipment and throwing things was not an option.
The shock of its sudden and inexplicable appearance is what upset me. No one to blame, not even myself. But unless repairing it cheap and easy (ha!) it's not going to happen, so it is what it is. And judging by how soft the finish seems to be, it's gonna take a few bruises before retirement.
I suppose I COULD put it in a vacuum sealed case, but I'll probably just keep gigging with it. Thanks for the suggestion though -.-
Hey it's your bass and life, do what ya want. I consider instruments to be tools. Love them dearly but any kind of damage to them that doesn't affect play-ability is a non issue to me. Sulk on bro!
