Yep....unsubscribe. Dramatically easier than coming here to make threats. 
Easiest thing to do is hit the unsubscribe link in the email if you don't want the weekly highlights. Or you can change your TB preferences to uncheck "receive email from site admin"
Either way will stop whatever email you're getting.

Where did I make a threat?
I never received spam e-mail from talkbass, and suddenly it has started. I guarantee you I did nothing to start it, i.e., no changes of profile or "preferences". So you say now it's my responsibilty to figure out how to stop it? Nope. Not my responsibility.
Just trying to give you the easiest, most direct way to deal with that one email every week. Good luck.
At least it's not tuna noodle casserole emails. Member slobake and I would not tolerate any of that.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused, I know for some the email inbox is sacred ground. We don't sign you up for anything nor sell any emails to anyone. We introduced the weekly top posts email this summer (which has boosted our site traffic by 16%, btw), only to those who have the "receive email" pref on. We're not going to keep signing you up for stuff - clicking that unsub link is easy and will stop the email immediately.
