I Donnoh What's Hollow About it

It's a way to circumvent paying a final value fee...sell it for $1, pay fees on $1, buyer pays $86 for bass.

Thanks for clearing that up... Unrelated to this thread (but to this post), I saw a 'Wick Streamer go for .80 (yes, eighty CENTS) today on feebay - with an $1,100(!) shipping fee.

Now I see why.:rolleyes:
 
Doesn't matter anymore. Because of jerks who have done this eBay now charges final value fees on the item and shipping. Stinks for all of us who tried to be honest with our shipping fees :hmm:

Thanks for the heads up...I didn't realize that they changed the Final Value Fee structure (again). I was used to paying PayPal fees on shipping, but not eBay Final Value Fees.

On the "bright side", it looks like they've reduced the Final Value fee from 10% to 9% so the bite isn't quite as deep...

All the more reason to buy less gear and find alternatives to selling on eBay.
