That is great, and I must agree with your whole post.

I'm very iffy on his solo stuff at best, but to the OP, have you heard his work with Bela Fleck? Listen to "The Sinister Minister" (Youtube link), and then say he's never done anything you don't like.

It sounds like Gershwin having a hoedown. I guess it's not for me. Sorry.
