I fell in love with a Roscoe

I knew I shouldn't have popped in to the shop when I was in the city… but I did. They're rare as hens teeth in Canada afaik… likely still in the hands of Happy owners.

played a century standard Fretless. Wow. It was incredible. Light, well setup. Intonation is bang on… I am resisting the urge to throw this one on debt right now.

I don't 'need' a 5. But the rest of this just played so nice.

I know I'll end up doing a setup to lower my Fretless action on my jazz as result of that one being so fast and easy… but I'm in the throes of lust right now folks.

Nothing plays or sounds like a Roscoe fretless. And the B string makes a fine thumb rest until you are ready.

Sadly she was snatched from my grasp before the funds had been gathered… but now I know the way of these beauties.

but I did lower the action on my fender and it's playing much closer to that beauty. One day.
