I FINALLY got a Modulus!!!

I've been gassing for a Modulus for the better part of 5 years now, and I finally decided to pick one up. I've also been wanting a 4-string jazz, so this sorta scratches 2 itches.

Oops, yeah it's a passive bass with active EMG's
Swamp ash body, with flamed maple top. The thing sounds pretty good, but it really needs a setup. The strings are REALLY high off the neck and I can't find an allen wrench to fit the bridge! After the holidays I'll have it dialed in and try to get some clips.

Congratulations! I have basically the same axe in a 5.

The only way you can get a 34" scale, with adjustment rod, 17mm spacing, graphite necked, jazz pickup 5 string for 2k is buying a Flea Jazz 5. So thats what I got in October. They don't make a VJ 5.

If I was rich I'd pick up a VJ4 modulus too.

Yes, exactly what model is that? I know its not a Genesis; the neck appears to be 100% composite.
