Congrats Doc, very happy for you as I know you've worked hard for it. Now comes the discipline part. Put the other toys away and focus on making it your bestest buddy.
That is the scary part! I have to be prepared to sound like poop at times until I get it right.

I finally picked up that Pentabuzz today.I won’t be able to play until tonight because of work!
It's so worth it to experience that moment when you first really start to "sing" on fretless. Not that I'm there yet, reliably, but I occasionally catch a few moments of that magic now and then.
Practice, practice, practice.
I have total faith in you Doc. Just let the spirit guide you as they say.

Beautiful bass!
I always find it takes me like 10 mins to warm up on my Fretless in order to get my intonation right.
I recommend building a few minutes into your use of that bass (if it's an onstage performance) to warm up before performing!

I must live in a cave or something. I’ve never heard of this really nice acquisition...
If you listen Jazz or Fusion, you see them regularly. Bass wiz, Doug Johns plays the fretted version.
