I got a Epiphone EB3 and its awesome.

The only criticism I've heard is about the bridge, which can be replaced, and the difficulty cutting throguh the mix on stage, but that can be a matter of EQing the other band members accordingly :)

Enjoy!

Congrats on the new EB3. Stop by the club and say hi sometime…

I have an EB-0 and I like it a lot. But the EB-3 just seems to exacerbate the neck dive problem. I think I would add a bridge PUP to my EB0 before I would opt for the EB-3. But hey, as long as it works for you, rock on Garth!

Loved my EB3 when i had it.

I upgraded my bridge pickup to the rickenbacker seymour duncan replacement pickup for a little extra attack - worked a treat.

However, i only had an epiphone eb3 so i'm not sure if the gibson bridge pickup

I used to have a Tokai SGB-48, and replaced the bridge pickup with the Epiphone one. Works like a treat!
From my shop demo, the stock Epiphone neck Sidewinder is also brighter than normal Mudbuckers but still deep (similar to the last few original Mudbuckers). It sometimes gives a "foil-like" midrange, though, and that could be why it needed the midrange choke (you could mod it and install one with a switch).
