I got a new player!

So, I went to my local Guitar Center.......I picked up a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz, for $314 out the door, unplayed and new. It has a neck as slim as the one on the Geddy lee jazz, the thing sounds awesome. I'd lke to string it with rotosounds(which I've used) I'm just concerned about fret wear, I'm paranoid like that....would rotos ruin my frets? The neck has beautiful binding and a very beautiful glazed finish on the neck. As many of you know, these instruments are very beautiful and of outstanding quality and pictures just don't cut it!

I had one some years ago it was a grate bass the neck wasn't as nice on the on I had
Really? Yeah, I noticed that the older ones weren't very good. I've owned several basses over the past 4 years, including MIM Fenders, a Ric, and many other various brands. This guy is pretty killer, I'm not afraid to show this off while gigging! There are many Squier haters, saying they're junk. But the 299.99 price tag was a steal!

to me that is nothing wrong with any bass as long as it is good in the hands of the player. ive played p basses jazz basses t birds sound gears and my most recent love affair a thumb bass. And all of them were grate.

My jazz like yours was grate till it developed a nasty crack down the center of the neck. But I can also say I wasn't relly that gental with it.
