Hagstrom H2B on the bench. Previous owner refinished a dark sparkly blue and I decided to torture myself by taking it all off.
Specs roll like this-
Rosewood board, tort and black pickup blanks on order. Guild Bi-sonic in roughly the middle position, vol-tone-output. Neck is not part of this equation.
Poll choices are for what color to do for the body. I'm rather partial to Bobby Vega and the thought of roughing up the two-tone a la the shark bass appeals to me.
Sonic blue is always nice with tort.
Black is a good base for zazzing it up with whatever I may feel like at the time. Originally I planned on doing a marble-esque finish over black like Peter Malinoski has done on a few of his beauties.
