I should have phrased it better...Dark and dirty can be beautiful, I play with flats mostly myself! But I do think that a huge, bass-heavy tone usually doesn't fly live. I have much fewer issues with sound guys when I turn down the bass knob-once I do that, they don't seem to care as much about the volume knob. Sounds thin and whiny to me on stage, sounds huge in the crowd.
Then:Wanted to wait till I got permission to say. I just got it...Invalid Link RemovedSo once I get this, I won't care if the soundman wants to tie a string to a dixie cup to get my bass signal!
As a professional bassist, and a professional FOH, monitor, and recording engineer, I would have to say: HAHAHAHA
Then:LMAO
...um, I don't get it.
I don't get it either. Do they find the New Tech 21 device funny?
Indeed. I would very much love an explanation of precisely what seems to be funny about a pedal designed to emulate one of the most revered bass tones by a respected company with a great track record that is specifically aimed at making life easier for the bassist and the soundman, theoretically eliminating the need and request for a mic.....I think many of us are still waiting for clarification on this post.
