I hate spiders...

..I'm actually laughing at myself now, but it was really stupid.

I was sitting in my lounge two nights ago, nursing a beer and playing some bass.

After a while I noticed in the corner of my eye a small object moving across the floor. I took a closer look and it was a large spider.
So I finished my beer and tried to use my glass to try and catch it. So I got up and went to move to where it was. Unfortunately I tripped over my own foot and ended up smacking my left arm off the floor and whacking my head.
I got up again with the glass and searched for the spider. I couldn't find it. Then I noticed that it was under the guardrail of the fireplace.

I began to dismantle the guardrail, only for a piece (made of bronze) to land across my hands. Owwww.

After all that, I admitted defeat and went back to my amp. It was as this point that my chihuahua came in, eating the spider.

I fail at spider catching.

This thread is a not so veiled attempt for you to brag about your rat dog, who obviously had enough of a brain (rare for that breed of dog btw) to understand that it needed to make a sacrifice in the interest of all inhabitants of earth when it tried to take you out. Eventhough, it risked it's own life when it put itself under your feet, you do a great disservice to its heroism by lying about tripping over your own feet. This and the fact that there was no spider, and beer in the first place, is just a travesty. I actually feel sorry for the little dog, poor little bastard almost has a life worse than lemmiewinks. If I didn't hate PITA so much, they'd be knocking at your door right now.
