Thanks and apologies to @catcauphonic for the inspiration and post title. Behold, at long last, a half-dozen Black Widows in my laundry room:
Yes, even the guitars get one in the Studio Pro at top right, but the ‘89 1516 at top center—WITH GOLD BADGES!
—just arrived today, singlehandedly doubling my total with a trio of Black Widows in one box. Still with me?
The cabinet came with two pleasant surprises: the gold badges, and a surprisingly compact and not-insanely-heavy package. That familiar sound, though, came as no surprise. I had expected more volume from it than the rat fur cab with a single Scorpion 1x15 this unit will likely replace given the greater overall speaker area, but it will do. The teenage Peavey dream finally comes true at the dawn of middle age!
