I have a HUGE problem and need help asap!!!

This was allready posted once, read the whole thread before posting!

OK, I just want to know now.....was it the battery?!?!?!

No, it wasn't. He actually forgot to say it in the first post but he had allready tried changing the battery before. Again, read the whole thread and it will awnser you're questions.

It's a really fun thread to read if you have some spare time!

People sometimes neglect how serious a faulty battery in a bass can be. The problem needs to be dealt with swiftly and harshly. There is no time to think, let alone read.
Just look at the state of the world since the use of active electronics in bass guitars began.
Global warming.
SARS.
Terrorism.
Gas prices soaring.

Please make sure that you check your batteries on a regular basis.
The madness must stop now!

I called my repair guy. At first he was stumped, so we went on line and checked several places. We compiled all the data we could find, cross referenced with several outside sources and triangled it with several old school lutherians who specialize in old world electronics.
After a twelve hour session of non stop research we concluded that you should ether throw away the bass or change the battery.

EDIT: Should of read all the better, boy do I feel like a drummer!

Ultra Alkaline (get one from Walgreens Regular .99 or On sale .45}.

Next Don't leave the Bass Plugged in when you are not using it; it runs down the Battery. Lastly ALWAYS HAVE A SPARE BATTERY because as sure as Liitle Green Apples when you least need it to happen, the one you have will go Belly Up.

Well, I just signed on here for the first time in almost 3 years and was looking through my old posts when I found this one... I just had to comment and tell everyone that I did in fact try the battery... :p


It did not resolve the problem :atoz:
