I have a Sansamp RBI ... do I really need a GED 2112?

I am not sure if I want to sell my rbi and get a ged 2112 or stick with what I have. What’s the reasons to and not to do it?

I mean they look pretty different. Have you felt that you needed a mid shift or the saturation/deep circuit?

IMO, the best reason to go from the RBI to the Ged would be to run a two channel bi-amp system (like Geddy). If you’re going to combine the two channels back into one source, IMO the change isn’t worth it. The Ged 2112 does have a little more flexibility, but do you need it?

When the Ged 2112 came out, I listened to a couple demos. It's good and all but wasn't blown away. Not enough to dump my trusty Bass Driver. Still have the smaller Darkglass amp on my list, though.

This seems to me what it comes down to as far as the Ged's most prominent advantage.
