So there is alot of depressing threads out tonight. So I guess I'll do the same.......


I HAVE NO FUTURE!!!:bawl: !!!

I'm not good at anything, I'm shy as hell, and the world seems like a dark scary place to me.

People are always bringing me down. Telling me I'm not strong enough, fast enough, smart enough.

My friends offer no support. My parents feel the need to point out my lack of natural talent in anything everyday.


I failed my drivers test twice and girls don't like me.

Ok I now need words from people who have been there:D

I can't say that I'm not good at anything. But the two things I am good at are writing and music, neither of which bring in much money. I'm also shy as hell. So, I too have no future.

I hope. High school blows ass. The faculty is nuts about political correctness. It's called a holiday tree at our school, not a Christmas tree. Also, over the announcements, kids aren't allowed to say "have a good weekend" on Fridays, because apparently it implies drug and alcohol use, and permiscuous sex. :rolleyes:

I don't go to La Salle. I live in La Salle. It's my home town.

All the time I get the question "So what do you want to do?"

I Answer "I don't know what I want to do"

Thats a lie. I know what I want to do. I want to play music. I want write music. I want to travel the world and let people listen to my music. I want to sleep on the floors of dirty hotel rooms. I want to complain about never being home and seeing my family. I want people to say "Yeah the only thing James ever did good was his first album. Everything after that sucked" That is what I want.

The good news is that most people aren't particularly smart or strong. Maybe you will do better when you go to college. If you don't go to college, you can always become a plumber, mechanic, soldier, electrician, etc... and you'll do alright. There aren't too many people starving to death in Canada.

Remember this: in fields like music, athletics, politics... the world only needs a small handful of super talented people. For most other jobs, 'above average' will suffice. As a mediocre person, you can still lead a mediocre life, and everything will be ok. The same thing applies to dating. You don't have to be the best looking or most charming guy to get a date. If you're willing to date fat chicks, you'll do alright.
