Double Bass I Haz a Sad...

It appears that the Finnish pickup manufacturer "B-Band" has gone out of business - no formal online announcement, (that I can find), just some online user chatter along with a total disappearance of their web presence and distributor stock.
I really like and currently use their "D-1" bass pickup (since 2012) and will hope that it lasts a few more years/decades(?), before I have to descend (again) back into Pickup Hell.

OUT OF STOCK...sez their website.
I went there first.
I'll keep looking, but, I've read online that there are Chinese knockoffs floating around.

Duuh, sorry. I just woke from a Saturday nap and the interstitial spaces between my neural synapses are still draining.

I hope you are able to easily find one, be it Chinese or not.

You could order one from Thomannmusic.com, they still seem to have that pickup in stock.
