I hooked up with a Redhead tonight...

The Maximizer really kicks and defines the bottom ... Redheads lack some bottom to my ears ... and I use a Peterson Strobo Stomp tuner anyway, which allows me to use it with any of my rigs ... I think you might dig the Maximizer, picked mine up use on the Bay for maybe $60.00
