If you were to buy a head with the matching 4x10 cab which one and why. Not that I'm getting rid of my SVT but I'm looking for something smaller to do bar gigs with. I'm playing punk, rock, covers, blues, and even some celtic stuff in groups ranging from duos to quintets.
1. Orange AD400B
2. Mesa Boogie 400+
3. SWR SM1500
Now as a disclaimer, I own A SWR 400 but it doesn't move enough air(to me) and a GK 800rb(which I'll probably end up using)
I'm just interested in what you all think.

Carvin SBX410, by far best bang for the buck. BX1200 head got Bass Player Mag's Editor's Award and the BRX10.4 Neo cab is of outstanding quality and sound. If more TB'er's were to hear it, it would be alot more popular around here.:smug:

Thanks for the tip but I just don't like Carvin stuff. I will swing by their shop and take a look at the BX1200 though.
