I love Mozilla Firefox!

I use Firefox (for Mac) and Safari (Mac web browser)
Honestly, Safari is about the same as Firefox, but better because it's designed for mac specifically.
I'll never use anything but those two programs again, amazing.

My friend says he hates Firefox because it always locks up on him, and that IE is the best. He says he's had FF on 3 computers and it always jammed on him. I think the problem is somewhere between the seat and the keyboard.

I have the webmail notifier. You can configure it to check other web-based email accounts like Gmail and Hotmail.
Safari is okay, no tabbed browsing though. Unless I haven't used the most recent version. Almost every Mac I have used has had FireFox installed and I always go for that over Safari, just because it has tabs.
I like firefox better, safari seems to load a little slower than firefox. Safari does have tabbed browsing now, works well. I have no idea when people would still use IE, my sister does because she insists that there is nothing wrong with it. It just doesn't make sense.

Isn't FF a much more secure browser than IE anyway? I have heard that IE has lots of loopholes and whatnot that make it very easy for bad stuff to get through. Even if I got a new computer and IE was working fine, I'd immidiately switch to FF, it just feels more secure. 
Anyone out there using Opera? I found it to be faster than FF but not as user-friendly. Also it wanted me to re-DL loads of things like Flash, Shockwave, Quicktime. At that point I ditched it.

I use FF and Safari, mostly FF.
I use Opera once in a while. What I do like about Opera is it's bookmark management.
What I don't like is it's a little slow loading sometimes.
FF tends to freeze every once in a while, but just remind it and it usually starts up again.

IE is very insecure, FF is the most secure of the three most popular browsers (safari being the third).

Its a free download and will also import your IE favorites during istallation
I think the main reason people still use IE because of the obvious; it comes already installed on all computers running any version of Windows. For years I honestly didn't know another type of web browser existed, but I sure am glad I eventually found out. I will never switch back to IE.

For me Safari seems to run faster, on my Mac at least.
But they are about identical now, really enjoy them both. It'll be the only two I use from here on out. (ATM im on FF, earlier i was on Safari, heh)

haha one of my school admins didn't know about computers and he delibrately closed his window on accident and blamed "stupid Fox-fire" and then this other admin was trying to figure out what fox-fire was. IT was funny. They're so awesome though.
FF is a nice alternative to IE for sure. I just don't ever have problems with IE getting infected or weighed down with spyware/malware/etc. So I use IE all the time since I have been for 15 years, and I am used to it.
I know all of you guys in this thread know your way around a PC, but it is just beyond me how many idiots are out there and need to use something like FF because they don't educate themselves and learn to surf safely.

i would have to add all-in-one mouse gestures to that list...sometimes i wonder how i ever got along without it...
Big FF fan here, but it keeps crashing on my new Vista OS laptop. I can't explain it. 
I have to uninstall otherwise it locks up my whole computer. 
For some reason, it's not shutting down when I "x" out of it; when I hit Crl-Alt-Del, I see it running as a process untill it finally locks it up.
Same problem even after the new Vista service pack install. Not having that problem with IE, probably for obvious reasons.
