Rocco Palladino ( Pino’s son) sounds fabulous on this old Yamaha BB. So rich , thick, punchy, and clear through that ampeg.

I love Rocco’s sound

Good tone is such a big part of the battle, and Rocco clearly has that under control.
Yamaha BB1100S, bolt on, with active electronics (switchable). Can still be acquired cheaply
While I'm not a huge fan of Yussef Dayes' music per se, I do think Rocco sounds great
