This just has to be form southern Louisiana! It has some nice woodwork and actually played ok, you just could not hear it. It looked like the neck would unbolt. Only in a Woodville Texas pawn shop!

This was a travel bass kit that was offered by Musicmakers. The neck is designed to be removable. They later replaced it with a suitcase bass for which they still offer the blueprints here.

Did you buy it? If you contact Musicmakers they can probably tell you more about it.
