I want something short, like Rush. I've come up with Mauve, but it doesn't really click.

We play Hard rock mostly, some prog rock, and some metal.

Pretty much every single small to medium sized town in my area has had a band called "Nameless" at some point. Mine has had two....one in the 80s and one in the late 90s and early 2000s. "Band X" has been done to death too.
