I need a new fuzz pedal

i just got a bass mod done on my geiger counter by wmd, i have been getting that kind of nirvana, jamc, u2 kind of fuzzed out nineties rock tone, but the thing has about a million different sounds you can get out of it, previously i was using it to get a helmet type thing going with my marshall at home

(i use a behringer 4x10 combo at the studio we rent)

I seriously love this pedal, my seemingly endless search for the perfect fuzz is over.

Yes, it's obnoxiously big - but it's an awesome pedal.

Mine is en route to hopefully arrive by Friday!

I'm usually not a Fuzz fan, but the clips of this pedal sounded SO good, I couldn't refuse!

Get a used Ibanez PD-7. Its one of the best bass distortion pedals ive tried, yet also one of the cheapest. You seriously cant go wrong with it, works well with guitar as well.

I do get what you mean, Ive tried the big muff pi and it sounds too fizzy and 'brittle' for my liking, the pd-7 can get creamy as hell.

Heres the settings I use:

Attack: off(not a fan of the artificial treble)
mode: distortion
bass and treble: to your liking, but I usally just set them at 1o clock
gain: CRANK

Man, I think you'll like it. It takes a little bit of tweaking & initially the controls on the bottom are a little irritating, but once you dial in it...:bassist:

And I use the big "on the fly" wheel WAY more than I ever thought I would....

I've gone through a TON of distortion/fuzzes & this is the one for me. I'd be interested in hearing how you like it.
Enjoy!

totally agree!!
Ive had and still have alot of the good staples of fuzz..(bluebeards, EHX, musket, supercollider, grey stache, ox, etc...) but the $108 fender sublime will ALWAYS have a place on my board as much as a pain in the ass it is to work around it fitting in other pedals.
