I need experienced input: Ampeg super rig

what about using the 2 outputs of your sansamp ?
the affected one into your 2pro input
the parallele one into your 4 pro input ?

I say go with this. You'll have the dry/wet tone and then when the overdrive isn't on, you'll have the two tones texture. In my opinion, nothing beats having 2+ bass tones going at once. The texture and how much it fulls up sonically is great.

This will probably now be the way I go, but I want to experiment with it. I know that I'll need to be able to have volume control of the heads individually. However, I'm not so sure that I want to use the preamp of the 4 Pro--we'll see. Maybe I could get 2 BDDI's and run seperate preamps for each head? :) Hmmm...maybe I should have an SVP 1600 instead of a 4 Pro?
