This has lifted my spirits on an otherwise dull day at work

I wonder tho, not looking for 'growl' as such, but would this pedal help my tone get a bit more 'roar' and 'bite'. To be honest i'd be concerned about the side-effects, like possible rotting animal flesh smell? Should i be worried as i'm ready to dump serious cash on this otherwise....
