I have too many, but each one has its own personality.

Jazz basses, on the other hand - it's nice to have one around in case you need that sound, but I've never felt the need for multiples of them.

I'm sure many people have the opposite view.

Have two Precisions and a Sandberg P/J but mostly use the P pickup on that. Good to have an active bass in the line up.
