As far as the truck driver goes. There are ways to trace a cell phone number. For starters put his number in google. It's a long shot, but sometimes it works.

At the very least, if you can't find him I would sign his number up for just about every piece of spam I could find. Ring tones, and all kinds of crap. Call a hooker or two and give them that number. Get creative.

Put a craigslist ad out in erotic services using his number. I'll leave you to the details.
