I Present the IdiotBox Effects's Blower Box

My WoundedPaw Blender's phase switches are big enough to be switch by foot, but, yeah, a proper foot switch would be better.

You have to expect it, I have seen a few boutique builders on here not even knowing what a phase reversal is. Then someone explains it to them and they suddenly become "experts".

Just being the devil's advocate here on blenders. There are a couple of things to think of from the pedal builders perspective.

1) A foot switch does cost quite a bit more than a toggle (if it's SPDT or DPDT or more)
2) Fitting the switch within the enclosure with the circuit board
3) Fitting the switch on the face to be accessible (along with 2)
4) Keeping the foot print small enough where people will want the pedal on their board

I've heard from bassists in my area that want a super simple blend that only has a knob to control the blend and the foot switch to bypass the loop.
The Wounded Paw Blenders have always been on my list to look at for the features, but damn they are big.

As far as the out of phase output, putting things back in phase after a transistor phase inversion can add complexity to a busy circuit.
It can also be as simple as using the non-inverted output on an op-amp.

If you haven't already, check out the Badger Schism XV, small footprint, a lot of the features of the Wounded Paw stuff, and much cheaper. I love mine.

The Schism is great. If you need more loops than the schism or you need loops that can be ordered differently, the Wounded Paw is the way to go. If you just need one blend, the OneControl blenders are super small and awesome. They also have phase shifting, a buffer, they are super small and there is a model with an expression input.

Thought I might like my Muff after the BB, but it seems to be a bit too dark. Tried my MXR BFD and it killed it! Everything sounds great with my BB so far. Ultimate Drive darkens it up a bit, then flip the switch and it's gain city. But it really shines after the B3K to fatten it up just a tad. Sounds fantastic solo as well. Can't get over how much I love this pedal so far.

Honestly, everything is great about this pedal! Great construction, great graphic, great price, and phenomenal sound! Keep up the good work, Matt!

I received mine in the mail today.
Only had a few minutes with it before work, but was able to get great tones out of it right away.
Subtle overdrive to tough grinding distortion. Love the whole package, and such a great price.
$129? really, you can't find a better deal.

I do think it's a very intuitive pedal. I've had some in the past that sounded great, in very specific settings, but this overdrive seems to sound great however you set it. he only way I've gotten an unusable tone from it was turning the bass knob way down.

Still loving it!

I could even finds ways to use it that way even in the right part or circumstance. Totally agree with you. The only issue I have is which kind of dirt role it'll be playing. It does OD and dist so good.
