myself that I would get a bass in my lifetime and give it a go. My first ever Bass guitar 2019 Jackson JS1XM (short scale 28.6, 4 string, Snow White). So far the police haven't shown up to shut me down for the noise I'm making with it. My first riff, Van Halen's, "Running With The Devil Intro". I know, I really need to challenge myself for the next one. Alice In Chains, "Would" was the intro that inspired me to finally purchase the bass and it was a fantastic deal preowned. All it needed was a truss rod adjustment and then the set up for action height & intonation preference. Anyway, I already had Strats, Teles, a LP & an acoustic electric. I figured 4 strings would be easier, yet similar.
