Seriously, the name "Falls Church" actually sounds like one of the made-up places in Lovecraft's literature, even though it's a real place.

BTW, for anyone in the area, there is also a really cool record store next door to Action Music now, and if you're into photography, Dominion Camera is right behind it, an actual camera store like they used to have before digital ruined all the fun.

A small-time music store, a vinyl record store, and a film camera shop all within a hundred yards of each other, and a block from the State Theater...it's like a weird time warp in Falls Church, a Spielberg film version of 1980s Northern Virginia.

Apparently the scope of influence the Mothman is exerting is slowly expanding to the adjacent shops on the street. Soon the whole town will be under its sway.

Sounds like a great bit of inspiration for a short story or Twilight Zone episode.
