Very interesting stuff, musical cultural differences, subliminal effects, bits and pieces of various psychological studies dealing with music. I'm not in it too deep yet, but it's a subject I am very interested in.

One day I read for 22 hours straight.
But man, I ain't gonna do it again.
I did that once. It was a combination of all of 1984, all of Angles and Demons and a little bit of economics home work. I read fast, I can actually speed read and take it all in. I taught myself how to do it while in University, although it takes a lot of concentration so I don't do it much anymore.

No, seriously though, that book was terrible.
That it was. The story was interesting, but I can write better with my left have, after a bottle of vodka and a smack over the head with a hammer. Dan Brown should be taken out back behind the barn and buried alive, I wouldn't even waste a bullet on him.

Man thats sounds like a real treat ! You would think being in a field that you love in grad school all reading is pleasure reading but there still a coercive preasure to it.
I read a book a day.
I probably read about 6 or so hours a day on average between commuting, before I sleep, and just pure enjoyment.
That said, my job isn't a real job so I'm often on TB instead of actually doing work.

The last time I had that much spare time to read in one day was when I had strep throat and bronchitis at the same time in middle school. I read Stephen King's IT & The Stand laying on my grandparent's couch in one day. Lately, I'm lucky if I get a chance to read more than one book a month.
