Yeah
I’ve played with an amp for a long time but always felt meh, it was just so I would be heard live.
Then I played direct, meaning that I had a sound card and just plugged direct and played with iTune or recorded.
Then I used a Darkglass preamp the Vintage micro tube ultra. Very well made but still I still prefer my tone direct.
my bass as an active circuit, I boost mid and treble and favour the bridge pickup and voila it sounds fine to me.
I just feel weird
