Currently, my band is doing videos on a regular ol' digital camera. Not a video camera. I've noticed when I use my Sterling with the bass knob turned up, it creates a booming static sound on the footage we get. So, I have to turn it down. Since I have gotten my Precision bass, I have not recorded anything with it yet. Since the P-basses have a big low end, will I not be able to record with it on the digital camera? I'm afraid it will create the booming static sound. The only thing I know I could do would be turn up the tone knob, but would that be enough?

1. Record the video with the camera.
2. Record the audio separately.
3. Put the two together with Windows Movie Maker (a free utility that comes with Windows).
4. Convert to Flash Video with any of the several free converters available, or upload the YouTube and use DownloadHelper (a Firefox plug-in) to download the result
