Two Grand? They are indeed in a parallel universe. I'd build one now from parts save a boat load of money, get a better bass, and have it now. And the pride of having made it myself.

I don't understand the hype about this bass! It's not a new design. Schecter has been doing this style for years in several different models including a Robert DeLeo sig and a Michael Anthony sig.
