Y'all ever heard of Andy Irvine and his Daily Funk Club prize giveaway?

Well I have and I joined and I won. I got this sweet ass Hammersmith Bass today and a whole mess of other stuff is coming my way. Shout out to Marco at Hammersmith for the suppling this amazing bass for the drawing.

I'm not a 5 string guy but this one is making change my mind. I plays nice and smooth. Nice thin neck and it sounds fat and warm, dare I say even a little dark, Which I love!!

It's all passive with nordstrand Big rig pickups in it. It sounds like a jazz on steroids. Even with no preamp.

I would have taken more pics but I was to too busy playing it. Definitely recommend Hammersmith to anyone in the market for a great bass for not lot of money.

From a marketing perspective I would have thought getting the website and configurator actually working would be more effective, but hey what do I know.

Congrats OP! Looking at the bass, it looks like the neck shifted a bit in travel. I'd loosen the neck bolts and give the neck a bit of a shift in order to get the same spacing with the neck edge on the E string and G string.

Pretty sure that there are production concerns that trump marketing - I mean, why advertise what you can't supply, right?

I got to spend some time at the Hammersmith booth this past January's NAMM and really like their basses, good stuff and good people too!

It's just the angle of the dangle. The bass is perfect.
