I really want to get a 6 string. I've been wanting one for awhile, and I think I should go for it now. A local music store has an Ibanez BTB 406 that plays pretty well. The last time I went to Guitar Center (which was earlier this month) there was an Ibanez SR706. I also want to find an Ibanez SR506 to try out. These three seem like pretty good basses. What do you guys think? Which one should I go for?

BTB all the way. Overall better basses than the Soundgear line. Much more versatile, better pre, and they balance much better.
Soundgears fit me better, plus I'm not comfortable w/35"(TWSS). I vote *try both, back-to-back if possible*
TBer emjazz was selling a nicely modified Ibanez 6er in the TB Classified section awhile back. I'm not sure which model, (if he hasn't already sold It), but it's worth "searching" the classifieds section to check it out IMHO.
