Ibanez 70s Jazz

I've got some pictures of a modified (upgraded?) 70s Ibanez jazz. Seller says the pickups have been upgraded to active-passive.
I've no idea what these 70s Ibanez basses go for, but the guy wants to trade it for my USA made Fender De Ville 212 guitar amp.
Now I'm all for having another bass in my stable, but I'm not sure the trade is fair/worth it.
Thoughts?

Quick online search finds a couple of examples in the $300-700 range, but that's for bone stock examples in good to great condition.

That one has a stained/painted neck, a refinned body, changed electronics, different pickguard, changed string tree, different knobs...

I think the tuners/bridge might be original.
