1. im from israel so my english is not so good .
2. did anyone played on this guitar before? i heard that the ATK300 are realy good, so this guitar is a ATK300 with an extra jazz (neck) pickup.

The ATKs get rave reviews here, and with the addition of the Jazz pickup, you cant get much better.

I played a 300 at Guitar Center, and loved it.

There is a review that was done by Tom Bowlus called "Attack of the Koa Monster" or something like that. It's on the ATK750KA (Koa top). Everything should be the same except the top. You should be able to find a link to it here on TalkBass, and it should be helpful.

I have a Koa top 750 and a Blue Moon 700. I, personally, like how they sound and play.

Ive considered getting the 750 as well. I heard the neck is thicker on it than the 300 & 700.

I have a 700BLM & a 750KA. I don't have a 300.

With the 750 you can activate the single coil closest to the bridge for a more "jazzy" tone. That coil only activates in humbucker mode on the 700 and 300, IIRC.

You could accomplish the same thing on the 300/700 by rotating the pickup 180 degrees.

Other than the obvious 5-way switch and a neck pickup they are pretty similar. Both of mine are made in Korea. The necks are both 5 piece walnut/maple. Both necks measure the same thickness. Both necks feel good...I had to polish off some fret sprout on the 750's neck when I got it. The neck on the 700 was perfect & feels slightly better, but I have no idea why.

Neither one of mine are unbearably heavy like some people's. The 700 is slightly heavier than the 750(like 1/2 pound or so).

The koa on my 750 is absolutely beautiful. It really looks like a very expensive bass. My Blue Moon 700 is pretty ugly. I've seen much better looking one's posted here. The headstock and body aren't even close to the same tint blue. But I love playing the 700 and I notice I tend to grab it before I grab the 750. That may be because I'm scared of screwing up the pretty top on the 750, & I don't worry about it on the 700. Not that I'm rough on my equipment, but accidents can happen.

I have been considering converting one of them to fretless, but I doubt I'll do it anytime soon.

No. Yes the single pickup ATK is versatile enough to dial in a tone for playing many different genres. But it doesn't have the extensive "color palette" of something like a G&L L-2000, for example.

Keep you eyes open. I bought both of mine on the big blow-out Musicians Friend had last winter.

I paid $350 for my 750KA and $300 for my 700BLM, brand-new shipped.

I don't think you'll regret it at even at full price. The 750 is easily worth the full price, IMHO.

I forgot to mention the double and triple fret dots on the neck. That has been more useful than I would have thought, too.

I just picked up two ATKs for $700 ($350 each) one Blue Moon and one Natural. I wanted a ATK750QM but will need to thin out my collection first.

I just picked up a mint ATK750 Koa yesterday with the OHSC for $400 shipped. Its even nicer than i imagined. The neck isnt that thick. Its easy to play. And somehow i got one thats 9.6 lbs and not like what seems to be the average of around 11!

Maybe i should post a pic and see what you think of the finish since they varied

Not exactly.

These are made by Cor-Tek in Korea and the 300s are made in Indonesia.

The electronics for the 700/750 are quite complex and a number of people here have had the PCBs DOA out of the box or fail later.

These are especially heavy, big basses. I got a Link Removed and Link Removed when they were blown out and both of mine are pretty good examples as these things go, but they are -- for me -- just too heavy to play.

If weight isn't an issue for you, they might work out.
