OK so my old friend bought this bass for his church group.He didn't like how it sounded so he took it back so they can check it out.brought it back same.Now i was the previous bass player at the church so it took a shot at it and everything was all wrong; neck too tight,fret buzz everywhere,saddle adjustment was off and intonation too.so i fixed that,plays better than before but i noticed that every time i tap the battery box it makes some crazy snap crackle pop sound through the speakers.So I pull out the battery box and i see the voltage suppressor diode on a little circuit board going from the battery to the cavity of the bass.
