Vintage Bass Mechaniken Ibanez Velve Tune B llBy the way, does anyone here have a Velve Tune BII for sale? My D string tuner is bent and of course the bass is a lefty, so I guess that would be a bass side tuner for the rest of you. I did find one for sale elsewhere but I wanted to check here too. This tuner is still functional for now so it’s not a huge deal yet. Let me know!
Here it is. View attachment 4686256
Not a dumb question at all.Another dumb question-
Does anyone know of good non-original cases that would be a snug fit for this MC-924? I’m certainly not holding out hope for an original one.
And keep in mind again, mine is left handed.
Thanks!!
If you're not wanting original but perfect fit, check out a Pelican case. You can cut the foam to fit your guitar.Another dumb question-

You can always cut the foam to fit and then cover it with velvet or velour fabric if you’re concerned.By the way, are you aware of any issues with the foam in those cases messing with the finish?
Are there any pickups that are a direct replacement for the MC 924? I’m not in the market for any, just curious. I haven’t seen anything yet, thought I would start here for possible info.
Thanks again y’all
Thanks. Yeah, I admittedly haven’t been through this entire thread (working on it), so pardon any redundant garbage I’m asking.Bartolini used to make one — many, many Moons ago. And our club founder
AphekGreg might be able to make you one, but of course I cannot speak for him.
There is info on both somewhere in this thread. You may have quite a bit of reading to do.
But why do left haded basses and guitars exist? I've never seen a left handed piano.....
Interesting.....Because there are those of us who naturally play left handed.
Another 2 sets of my hum cancelling Super 4 pickups. 1 set going to Christophe in Belgium.View attachment 4490004View attachment 4490005
Well, you had a lot to read!Whew. Finally got through this entire thread. Sorry for my questions guys. If I had read through first, mine would’ve all been answered without bringing them up again. Oh well.
Anyway- Greg, are you still making these pickups? I sent you a PM. Just curious as to the cost and such. Like I said above, I’m not in the market just yet, but it would be cool to know there are options.
Cheers!
Mmm. Not getting notifications again. I make the pickups as needed, but yes can definitely make some if you decide you want less noise. They sound almost exactly the same as the originals. Just cancel out the hum.Whew. Finally got through this entire thread. Sorry for my questions guys. If I had read through first, mine would’ve all been answered without bringing them up again.
