Ibanez Soundgear Pickup to String clearance

Having recently bought a new Ibanez Soundgear SR500 (very pleased) and then having customised string selection and action to my own preferences I have been struggling to find the optimum clearance between strings and pickups. I am using light gauge (40-95) and I just can't seem to find the elusive sweet spot. Does anyone else have any experience with any of the SR range with Bartolini Mk1 pickups and have been able to settle on the best string to pickup clearance?

i have the sr 705 with mk1 and 45-128 strings, i've settled at about 1 cm clearance, maybe a little bit more, because any less and fret buzz becomes an issue, and higher makes playing more difficult for me.
