Ibanez SR Series

i've got nothing but good things to say about the SR series of basses..
i have an SR-885 (beyond well used by me) for the last six years and just got an older model SR-506 and... short of something in the 1500 and up range... there aren't any other basses that i would rather play.

they have good/easily manipulatable tone, the thinner/narrow neck is DEFINITELY a selling point for me...

personally, if i was to go out and buy a new one right now, i'd probably got with the 405. go for it... get that extra string... it'll be worth it. (i thought it was... but couldn't stop myself and ended up with six instead.)

My first bass that i have ever bought was a SR645GN and i still play it today from time to time.

A couple of years later i bought a SR506 and i still use it as one of my main axes (the other being a fender jazz v)

i bought an used sr406 off some dude off myspace classifieds and that thing plays like a charm.

You cant really go wrong with the SR's at all.
