Hello! I just got a nice deal on a B-stock SRC6MS, which is weird, but I dig it and I am looking forward to occasionally pulling this out to torture my bandmates with decades worth of pentatonic guitar riffs stored in the olde memory bank and rendered through a dimed BK7U and my cranked Sisma.
Just curious if anyone has swapped the pickups and/or pre on one of these and has any recommendations about what works well. I know it’s a small pool of folks who have one of these wacky things. Normally I would either replace or just take out the pre in something like this, but I can quickly see the value/impact of the mid shift switch on the overall tone. I have a Tone Capsule I might try in this, but I'm not sure it will be an improvement given the trade off of the treble control for the extra mid.
I’m planning to swap the stock tuners for GB350s. Has anyone modded the bridge?
