Hey guys. I'm new here, so please, bear with me. I apologize in advance for any issues and/or discrepancies I might cause.
But now, to to the issue at hand.
See, I've recently gotten my 2nd bass; a B.C. Rich Mockingbird, masterpiece series, under the impression it be great for metal.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love this thing. But I found that the stock pick-ups (a B.C. P and a J), while not the worst I've heard, are lacking. And it just seems (to me) that the thing is lacking in deep end.
Soooo, I was wondering, what pick-up combo would provide deep, beefy tones, while keeping crisp high ends (if possible)? Or is it just my EQ/strings?
Please, I've only recently gotten to the point where I concern myself with tone, so I'm still new at the whole thing, as you can see :/
Thanks for the help, and sorry for the long post.
