Everything about it- the screwed top, bassbar screws, f holes, body shape edge rolling, scroll, wooden neck.......you only have two vintage aluminum bass choices- pfunky Pfretzschners like this and beautiful seamlessly welded and crafted ALCOAs that are in a league of their own.

They are the same. That last one (I believe from Gary's Upton archives) was repainted and the bassbar screw holes were filled with bondo. NOT reccommended as it is a PIA to make future adjustments when, not if, things rattle loose.
