Ideas for a B4?

Hey there,

I'm thinking on doing an B4, instead a B3, but only with bassist.
I know that evertyhing is possible, but if someone tried already this idea, I would like to know if it can work out with any bassist, or you would have to know musically your mates in jam?
Or there''s a drummer or percusionist needed, to fill more or to get the groove started...

Does anyone have an idea about this?
