Identify Lakland skyline 44-02

Hi.
I just purchased a 44-02 from 2002 made in Korea. I am curious that was it a standard or a deluxe in that time? I cannot really find the same finish and fingerboard combination searching through Google. Any Lakland expert there who could help me? Thanks

There was no standard or deluxe when the series was introduced in 2002. It was just a 44-02 and that finish was called Cherry Sunburst. The early Skylines are amazing and the closest they came to the USA line. Enjoy your new bass. It looks great.

I'm no expert on the subject but I did own a Korean 4402 with a thin veneer quilted maple top. Got it in a trade deal here on TB back around 2005. I seem to recall the ones with figured tops were referred to as Deluxe. Don't recall the build date, but mine came with factory BASSLINES pickups, which were an option for a while on the Skyline 4402.

Apologies. I take it back...there was a Deluxe version available from the beginning. So yes, the bass in the original post would be a 44-02 Standard.
