Identify my Warwick

Once in a while Hans-Peter has a few too many drinks and belligerently insists to anyone who will listen that he can do a better job building basses than his underlings. Despite protests from his employees he pushes his way into the workshop and, a few hours later, emerges with a one-of-a-kind, alcohol-fueled custom build. I believe the bass above to be the fruit of one such occasion.

All kidding aside OP, if you enjoy playing your bass then that’s really the most important thing - regardless of that bass’ authenticity. :)

Hi everyone, I bought this used Bass for 500 bucks about 10 years ago.
I've never seen this exact Model anywhere though, anyone know what this is?

The Framus\Warwick website has a feature where you can plug in your serial number and it will tell you what you have if it legitimate. I’ve never seen a bass like this before.

That said, if you have had this bass for 10 years worth of enjoyment, you got your money’s worth regardless of what you have there.

Well OP, the question seems to be settled. Along with it you've gotten a smattering of positivity along with a small helping of **** replies. Now you know at least.

If you've enjoyed playing it and owning it, that's most of the battle though. Only you can say if it was worth the price for you.

Oh yeah, welcome to the site. Your positive attitude in the face of disappointment is refreshing. Keep it up.

No need to get nasty.. It is Warwesque.
Someone had a great time trying to build their own Warwick Infinity like bass.

If it sounds good and plays well then that's a nice bass for 500 bucks.

Yes, it might not be the genuine article, but if you enjoy playing it and like the sound and looks, you got something worthwhile.

Just call it a custom build, rather than a Warwick and enjoy playing it....

There is nothing about that is Warwick.
A fake and not an accurate one at that.
That said , if I dig it cool, just don't sell it as a warwick. It is not a Warwick .
